We are leaving for Quito, Ecuador this coming Wednesday. Then we'll be headed the following week to Otavalo, Ecuador for one month of intensive classes in Spanish. (Or possibely two weeks in Otavalo, followed by two weeks in Banos. ) Then we will be headed to the Ecuadorian
Amazon, followed by a ten-day sailing trip around the Galapagos Islands. On our return, we will be going to Lima, Peru in March, returning home on April 12.

Gary has devoted an incredible amount of time and thought into how we can travel for 3 months through every type of climate with nothing but what can fit into two light backpacks.
